An image is an Image, expressing and communicating to the viewer, who then, elaborates and reacts. Whatever his or her reaction might be, is not important, the main thing is that one does so. I have always been obsessed by transparency and light. Even from the beginning at OCA in Toronto, my art work was characterized by these two factors. As a child living first in Sweden and then growing up in Canada where light and transparency are dominant I was involved in the continuous illuminous transformation of the countryside. I enjoy elaborating the works of The Great Masters of the past. Combining the past to the present is very enthusiastic.

Un apertura mentale e una ricchezza artistica unica, regalata non solo dalle esperieze in mondi e genti diverse, ma anche dalla famiglia che vanta artisti da cui Mirella ha attinto la capacità di mischiare l’arte con l’osare nuove idee interpretative delle opere pittoriche o della fotografia.
Mirella si è ritirara in Sicilia, dove crea circondata da verde, profumi di alberi di agrumi, mischiati a quelli della brezza del mare.
